Dr. Berns is the founder of NDI and co-founder of PACS company perfectImaging. He is a well-respected authority on MRI and Neuroradiology. Prior to founding NDI, Dr. Berns established a strong reputation in the Midwest as President of Drs. Hill & Thomas radiology practice. He has nearly twenty years of experience in Neuroradiology practicing in hospitals and outpatient centers along with a successful portfolio of development of imaging centers and clinic-based radiology projects. Dr. Berns is also skilled in assessing the vascular system, including the peripheral arterial system, having read thousands of MRA studies while consulting with vascular surgeons and internists.
